Cancer Free RI

On August 3rd, we launched the first Cancer Free RI event at Farm Fresh Rhode Island.  A community event, connecting community members in underrepresented communities throughout Rhode Island with vital healthcare resources with a strong focus on cancer prevention, mental health, and physical wellness. We’re working to empower our neighbors to take proactive steps for their health by showcasing resources available within their own communities. 

The event was a collaboration with our Future Generation Cancer Scholars program, where high school students from local public schools shared educational materials on cancer prevention and screenings. This initiative gives students hands-on experience in public health and cancer research while empowering them to give back to their communities.
